Description
I graduated in Plant Production and Protection Sciences and I am now pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science. My research activity focuses on the sustainability of the agri-food sector, using the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology, especially in the fields of agricultural engineering and environmental energy balance. This activity makes it possible to analyse the environmental impact of different products (both animal and vegetable), identify the most impactful sub-processes and propose and analyse impact mitigation strategies. My task in the project is focused on assessing the environmental sustainability of the innovative solutions proposed for vineyard defence.
